One of my New Year’s resolutions is ,actually, to travel or go somewhere preferably by plane and new every month. I am glad to say that it’s still going smoothly well.
January – US
February – Philippines
March – Sri Lanka
April – Malaysia (Bukit Broga)
May – Philippines
June – United Kingdom
July – Malaysia (Cameron Highlands)
August – Philippines
I do not have any plans in the next few months yet, but I am sure I’d have something.

As always, I went home. I was greeted and fetched by my dad from the airport arrival hall. I could see him from afar. Even after just a few months of not being able to see him, I could not help but notice his changes physically. He and my mom (even our pet) are growing old. As excited as I am, I am also melancholic. Gosh, I WANT TO EXPRESS MY LOVE the best way I can to them every day, but life and work won’t let me do that. I’ve limited time…. =(

Since services are cheaper in the Philippines, I decided to go for some minor dental procedures near my place. After that, off we went to a nearby water-surrounded province called Batangas. Again, as my parents are already becoming as adventurous as yours truly, we didn’t have any plans. We just drove there and stopped where ever for the night.
We ended up in a secluded beachfront resort in Barangay Calayo, Nasugbu, Batangas. We stayed in a very basic nipa hut for a night. We didn’t get to enjoy much of the beach because it was raining like crazy from afternoon til the next day. However, we had fun just being together.

Going back home, we bought some fresh fruits and had lunch in Tagaytay. We also went to hear mass to conclude the day.

After that, all remained simple and safe but extremely happiness-eliciting. Wish I am rich and able so that I can bring my parents along everywhere I’d go!
