Deafened by the sound of the wind,
I couldn’t even hear my own breathing
I can only feel it.
Every inhalation and exhalation,
A prayer of gratitude exudes from within me.
Air incessantly splashing
Into all the openings on my face.
I’m supposed to feel suffocated, drowning,
Yet, I feel even more alive.
Engulfed by all the positivities the world can provide.
Blinded my the sight of flashes and sudden brightness
Amidst darkness.
The most beautiful sights I imagined.
Drudging every step my legs and feet do
The most fullfilling kind of pain
Pebbles below me, sand, grass
They are tickling my forefeet
Small changes,
I am made aware.
Though I am not thinking.
I am a robot.
A mechanical being.
I just do it.
