I am not a beach person. Why? Simply because, I cannot really swim. And Phuket is undeniably known for its beautiful beaches, islands and fine sand. Then why the hell did I choose Phuket for my holiday destination?

I searched for countries offering pole dance classes aside from Singapore and the Philippines, and tadah, the cheapest and the most accessible one, at least for me, was located in Phuket. Hence, my decision to go from Myanmar to Phuket.

I arrived late at night, took the shared taxi at the airport at 180Baht, to go to my hotel, The Yim Siam Hotel at Patong. I have learned that if one is exhausted and rushing to go to their respective accommodation ASAP, never use shared taxi because, they wouldn’t leave the airport unless there are 10pax to board the cab and it would take forever to wait especially if you are the last one to be dropped off to your accommodation. I arrived at 1025pm and reached my hotel past 12am.
