Yeay. It was fun. I haven’t done road races since early 2012. I’ve been much into trail running recently and guess what…I missed road. Therefore, I find this run rather entertaining, especially the fact that there were options/splits for you to choose from; (1) Follow the pack or Go off the beaten path (2) Rule the city or own the park (3) Dance to finish or Rock your Run. I chose to run those in bold. There was actually a DJ..haha but people seemed to be unresponsive to the good music she’s providing. It hyped me up a little. Since I didn’t want to look crazy, I restrained myself from dancing.haha

I finished the race with quite a decent timing, I think. ..I hope… I don’t really time myself that accurately. I’m just always happy and content to be able to finish a race with whatever timing. At the finish line, the queue to collect the finisher shirt was loooong.  I thought as soon as I crossed the finish line I could already find a spot to sit and rest, but no. We all have to queue under the sun’s blazing rays to take the items. But it’s ok, minor stuff. I still enjoyed the run…=) Thank you organizers!
