Metamorphosis
She looked into his eyes, wondering if he can be hers
He punched her to her tummy, she was an opponent
She blocked the punch, held on to his nape, didn’t want to let go,
But she needed to move sideways, use her hips and throw him down to the floor,
He was expecting that, she had to do it.
She couldn’t completely do it, she was afraid to hurt him
But he asked for it, she had no choice
He looked into her eyes too, a questioning look
She thought, just ask…
Her knuckles to his chest, he was up for it
He threw a fist, she blocked
She kept her feet onto the floor, balanced herself
Refusing to fall completely
Head over heals
He was impressed by her ability to keep herself together
Once again, she held him close, hoping it could last longer
Through his eyes, he was screaming, please release
She couldn’t….she had to…
She was dreaming…
In dreamland, he had transformed
Into a beautiful butterfly…
