I haven’t been romantically involved with anyone in the past 4years and since I’m feeling kind of bored and uninspired recently, I decided to make an experimental move, try meeting people online.

I installed one app in my tab and tadah, people started messaging.  I was able to enjoy talking to strangers just for awhile.it was addicting….for a while.

After about 2 weeks, I started feeling that I was just wasting time. Bored as hell just to keep on giving introductions after introductions only to find out that all they wanted was to get into your pants, FB, or fuck buddy, sorry for the lewd term but that’s what they really wanted. Some of them were even casually dubbing it that way too.

Few were with (common) sense (of humour and of decency)  and most were horny bunch looking for free and easy sex.  Some were even, without remorse, admitted that they are married. eww

I eventually got tired and deactivated my account. I am uncertain if the world today just became a jungle already whereby, like mindless animals, people just seemed so focused with their earthly and carnal needs heedless of its consequences.

I’m not sure if I’m just being too conservative, uptight and “auntie” about this but I was turned off with my online meet-up experience.

As mentioned, there were still very few mindful individuals and luckily, I was able to keep one. We became kind of, online buddies already. Well, my friends will be trying on the paid meeting-up sites, maybe those will be better. We shall find out. Do you have any suggestions? lol
