Instead of comfortably sleeping on my bed on a rainy and cold Saturday morning, I decided to join the trek “Stream Hiking in No Man's Land (Recce Hike)” organized by ARDS, a meet-up group. Kuya Noel once again, invited me to join. Early morning, I received a message from the organizer saying that the trek has been cancelled due to heavy rain. Disappointed, I smsed kuya Noel and told him that I’ll just join him on whatever activity he’ll be going to this morning, since I was already dressed up for mud. ayiiee. Early on, he gave me a call too, informing me about the event cancellation and that he would just join a walk.
After 5 minutes, Esther, the organizer, sent another message saying that the trek was once again, on. Ok. My bus just passed in front of me. I had to wait for another 15 minutes to take my first bus. I arrived at the meeting place slightly late but I didn’t mind because Esther said she’d also be late.
We started with a 15-20minute road walk while viewing properties. We passed by huge landed houses which included (my trek mate said) Jet Li’s mansion. We then reached a 200 meters long, about 1meters tall tunnel hence, we had to bend down to fit and use our torchlights. Yes. There was water and mud from there.
From there until the end was walking on heavily vegetated streams. We passed by waterfall-like rock formations with stream water flowing unto them. Sound and the feel while walking was relaxing. We ended the trek after finding the source of the stream. We ,then, used Durian loop to go back to the main road.
As our reward, we went to Bukit Timah food court and had our most awaited meal ,then, we all headed back home.

Hike will be approx 2-3 hours.
Participants should be physically fit or looking to train to be fit for.
Not suitable for beginners. Pace will NOT be slow and leisurely.
