A while ago, while cuing for my Mc Donald’s breakfast, I overheard a lady trying to angrily call the store manager. As I was very eager and interested to know what caused this lady to be very upset early in the morning, I eavesdropped.

The young manager came by and calmly asked her what her problem was. She said…..

“….the cleaner mopped the floor behind me (meaning she didn’t see it until she turned)…and it’s very dangerous you know….”

The lady then faced me and somehow waited for my reaction and re-assurance but I only managed to give her a calm nod (because I was in uniform).

She then faced the manager again and exclaimed  “..later I slip how?”

O well, in my head, the poor cleaner just did her job. 

When I shared this story with a friend, she said;

“if its dirty, people complain, if its clean, people still complain.”

I thought, “o well, whats new?”
